Tasting Notes: On the nose, aromas of dusty plum with a wild Cabernet Franc bouquet of licorice, gravel, herb, incense, and slight pyrazine. The palette follows with enticing flavors of black currant, dark berry, and plum. There is a very light oak expression. This Right bank inspired wine combines the savory aromas of the Cabernet Franc with plum tannins and the fullness of the Merlot. This wine exemplifies the warm 2020 vintage and the unique weather that defined it. Decant to drink now, but can be held for 10-15 years.

Winemaker Notes: Hand-harvested and sorted. 48-hour cold soak. Fermented with Woodward Canyon native yeast in 1.5-ton stainless steel fermenters. 100% neutral French barrels, 20 months
